Abandoned Dreams

One man's nightmare is another man's dream!

This aerial photograph is of the abandoned Woodmen's Circle Home which sits on a grassy hill on 15 acres west of Downtown Sherman, Texas. It features Georgian-style architecture and was built in the late 1920's. The Woodmen's Circle was home to over 100 children, and 165 elderly women; which eventually closed in 1971.

Photographer's Suggestion:
I think this image looks awesome printed on canvas. To me, it almost appears to be a painting. It would also look great on fine art paper.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
- James 1:27
